I feel like I should mention...

...a thing or two about my music on my blog. 

I have heard that having music on your blog makes you seem like you're "trying too hard to be cool". 

And I just read that you should NEVER EVER under any circumstance ever...have music playing on your blog...it's distracting and annoying to others.  I can kind of see that...I usually have my computer muted when looking around anyhow.

But here's the thing...I do it totally for myself.  

When I'm at the library sorting books in the backroom, I put on my blog to listen to music.  They don't have itunes there...so I do what I can.  

So really, I appologize if it's gaggy to som

e people...and I totally get that it's annoying when you post videos and such...so ...sorry!!!  for now, it stays...and if I'm geeky, then I'm geeky.

Everyone should see this...

...The Boy in the Striped Pajamas....This is an excellent book...but I was VERY impressed with the movie too.  I really think everyone should read the book, then see the movie...or just the movie.  very well done.

THE MAP........is up

WHEW...this is not my favorite thing to do...it takes a long finicky time.  But we enjoy our map downstairs...love the colors...plus it's easy to run down to when you're wondering where something is...(often for me)

Little by little we are getting things done and stuff put up on the walls...the weekends come in handy for that...

Trampoline and Twilight

Today I came home to the trampoline being set up and burgers being barbequed.  What beautiful weather...not even any wind!!

Then afterward, we watched Twilight...

which was released today, and which I ran downtown to buy this morning.  Tessa and Ayden are a bit creeped out, but honestly I think Harry Potter

 is scarier than this movie...

Spring is here also...

we have birds chirping and rain!!!

Jenn had this website  featured on her blog, so I thought I'd give it a try.  It's a face transformer program where you upload your picture and there are all these options to see how it will come out.  We've been doing it for a couple days...kinda entertaining...

Anyhow, here's me as a baby (that baby has a bit too much makeup on) and then a Boticelli painting.  so lovely.  I could have done a chimp, but it was a bit too creepy.  (see Jenn's site to get creeped out)

St Patricks...

Our green St Patty's day lights.  We have multiple shades for the lights over the island so that we can change with holidays or seasons...it's fun...and who really decorates for St Patty's anyhow?  this is as good as it gets...

So sad...

Today is Tessa's last choir trip!  They are heading to Calgary today for festival.   She is in senior choir...I wanted to post a little clip from junior choir which is so darned cute...I couldn't resist.  She has been in choir for 6 years...it has been a truly great thing!!!  I will miss those concerts...her last one is coming up in a couple weeks....

Happy BDAY Sis and family!

Today is my sister Tracey's bday.  I won't get into how old she is, she might not appriciate that...I dunno.  Everyone in her cute little family has their bday's this month!

Reed has already had his...her twins Cort and Blake had theirs yesterday (they're 5!) and Madison has hers later this month (she will be 8)

But today is Tracey's day so hope you have a great day sis!!!

Tracey is a good friend, a great mom and a neat person...love ya!

Why do boys wrestle?

This is a question I've had since the beginning of time.  It doesn't seem to matter the age, the group of boys, or any other circumstance...the truth is, it's what they do!!!!  I remember having parties in high school...and what would the boys do half the time?  Wrestle.  every time.  I wondered at the time if they were just an odd group, but have since learned that that is how they are programmed...

It's a strange thing.
