family week...

our family week has been pretty uneventful.  work as usual, sleeping in...and nothing.  yesterday Ayd, Ben and I went to leth to get jeans for Ben.  of course we couldn't resist going in hmv to look at dr. who stuff.  i have recently been planning on ordering the Tardis/Dalek salt and pepper set, but i saw them yesterday and had to have them!

I've been working on my connective tissue via www.meltmethod.com.  I have the roller, and the book so far.  i really find it beneficial...but have only begun to learn about it.  at the most it's going to fix pain, and at the least it just really feels good!!

I've been thinking a lot lately about something people do.  It seems if somebody wants to know something about someone else, they often involve a 3rd person to ask them.  Why in the world can't they just come and ask whatever they want to know.  Why involve someone else?  Do we not want the real story firsthand?  i'm convinced that this is the main cause of most problems between people.  Talking.  and not really being correct in what their talking about.  I am always hearing about things through this 3rd person and i wish the first person would just ask or speak to me first.  It happens too often!

Anyhow, the weather is great lately.  a little snow...it's dipped below zero, but looks like it will warm up to around plus 10 over the next week or so.  Can't complain there!!

yumminess

so glad Costco gets in a couple of these.  they need more though, i want to try sprouted lentils!  but this stuff is SO good, even have most family members liking it.  of course Pete is the one that is the most against it- he is picky, and likes his white rice.  yuck.  BUT i HAVE converted him to coconut oil-cooked popcorn!!!  no butter at ALL, and only good salt on top!  it honestly is so yummy.  and so good for you!

wow, amazing!

Obviously i won't say much about it...but Tessa received her patriarchal blessing today.  Pete and I were lucky enough to be there to hear it.  It was beautiful and amazing to hear...coming from a parent!  Many things we already knew about Tessa and it was so impressive just to have it reaffirmed that Heavenly Father knows her so well too.
We are proud of her for wanting her blessing, and so happy for her!

catch-up

yesterday was SO hot out.  and by hot i mean something like +13.  amazing!  overnight it snowed.  but it still hasn't been overly cold.

recently Ben has been trying to decide how to ask someone to grad.  we came up with at least a zillion ideas...but i think he might go with the shaving cream in balloons idea.  that should be happening this week.

Ayden had a YM's camp friday night.  he slept outside in a lean-to with a few other boys.  um, BRRRRRRRRRr....he is way more brave than the rest of us...

this week we also had valentine's day.  Tessa and i worked at the library that evening, so there wasn't all that much going on...
DRUMROLL...here is my masterpiece...the TARDIS APRON!!!!  yup, it's dr. who.  i love it!!!

 the TARDIS

Ben and Ayden playing outside today...it kind of appears that Ayden might be getting beat upon!

 back atcha!

today Tessa is getting her patriarchal blessing.  so awesome for her!
 report cards for high school...amazing!!!!
