good stuff

we saw "Wreck it Ralph" on saturday.  it was cute!  really liked it...we had a fun day...ending with what i like to call "games with Jensens"  ...it was fun!  right up until Shanna and I got smoked at Rook.  

 Tessa and Ben have been at semester's end this past week.  they have MOSTLY been home, with the odd test here and there.  Ben has been taking departmentals.  kinda stressful!  however, being Ben, i am sure he will do great.  Tessa aced her grade 10 math test with a 100%.  all her stress for nothing!!!  so great!!!

We got Merlin season 4 this weekend, and spent awhile watching.  so fun for us!  we finished as far as we could go with doctor who.  so sad.

I had a bad week with feet.  I had a scratch on one foot...that became allergic to bandaids and has been driving me bonkers.  it is hard to wear shoes!  Then the other day i twisted the other foot under going out in the garage.  It could have been worse, but it hurt!!!

The weather has been great...will be getting colder just in time for Ayden's ski trip tomorrow!  booooo

Work has been good.  i am so glad i have a job.  i would go absolutely insane being home every day.

Pete has been doing shut-down work at the temple.  his FAVOURITE!!!  not.

Ayden must have spring fever because he's been doing soccer drills like crazy in this house!!!

Got tickets for Time Out for Women.  I actually found someone to go with, so i am excited!  can't wait for Brad Wilcox, Michael Mcclean, and Dean Hughs.  yay!!!

Tessa and I are getting haircuts wednesday.  I pretty much get one once a year, so i look forward to it!

well well well...

i am just not busy enough.  too much time on my hands + winter = a bad combination.  i am sewing more aprons...to what end??  i have no clue!  i just know i like it, and i HAVE to be doing something.  so restless...

 ...and i may or may not have made 5 of the exact same pattern!!!!!  i happen to like that one okay???

 Ben all decked out doctor who style...Tardis hat and mug, sonic screwdriver, and Dalek shirt.  so sad, we are almost at the end of the 6 seasons!  can't watch the 7th yet...it is on TV currently.  anyhow, we are all converts and fans.  other than Pete.

blog book!

our blog book from last year came!!  i am so glad i get these...i can't even IMAGINE scrapbooking all of this by hand!  YUCK.  

anyhow, it turned out cute...like it!

this week has been fairly uneventful....
-seems like homework and finals are the main subjects...
-Ben is taking diplomas...
-Ayden is doing GREAT via the chiropractor.  he is straightening right up, and has had no real headaches!!  i am actually a little surprised...
-i have been sewing.  aprons.  i feel so antsy this time of year...so i guess that is what i found to keep myself busy!!!
-the wind has been blowing it seems like forever.  i need it to end!  another wind warning today...
-Tessa is helping with the story time at the library tonight.  the subject is OWLS...and she has to read a few stories to the kids.  she is nervous, but she will do GREAT
-and really that is about it.  nothing exciting or new really.

or lots...took Ayden to the chiropractor for the first time last night.  he has been getting more frequent headaches lately, so we thought we'd check things out.  turns out he's pretty crooked!  you can SEE how his upper back and shoulder are twisted pulling down on one side of the neck...and causing a few other issues.  so, Dr. Bridge is going to straighten him out.  

i'm so glad we caught it!  i wish we had taken him in earlier...so i feel kind of bad about that.  but at least he's getting help now.  if he were to stay this way, he would up for a huge host of problems in his adult life.

 yesterday we bought an inversion table from someone.  it was a good deal...and hopefully will stretch us out!

better late than never!!  as you can tell...we had a very exuberant "nativity".  yup, one of the best ever.  sigh.  

 and the costumes were...so beautiful.

 Bertie-Bott's all flavour Beans.  YUCK.  we did a dare taste test.  Tessa ended up with an earthworm flavour.  pete thinks he got vomit.  someone got earwax.  oooohhh...shudder...it was nasty.  i got a salami...there was pepper and grass.  yuck!  lots of gagging trips running to the garbage!  kinda fun really.
