New moon review!
WOWWWW!!! GREAT SHOW! I was hoping it would be good, but it was way better than expected!
My favorite part by far was the volturi...it was cast PERFECTLY...and I could have used way more of them!
Loved the wolf pack (of course) and they did a great job of the digital animation of the wolves...
Jacob was great...and some girls I went with were thinking of switching teams after watching.
I don't know if I realized before how pathetic Bella's character is in this book/movie. I definately won't be making a young women's evening of this show. haha
STILL...a great show...I'm going again!
I also had a great day out with great friends...

the wild things

We saw "where the wild things are" today, and here is why we liked it...(By Cindy, Tessa, and Ayden)
(Tessa)...how the monsters looked, and the story, K. W.
(Ayden)...the giant house they made, how the people looked, the story
(Cindy)...the music, the message, the simple plot, the wild thing guys
We thought they did a good job making the story out of such a small book.

Interesting...

Today was Ben and me...we went out to Leth for the afternoon. We had ribs, and then went to a movie called "9". It had to be one of the more unique movies I've seen. That's for sure!! I like science fiction. And I like sock puppets. SOOO sock puppets ruling the world was NOT that out-there for me. Very interesting! I could have gone without the little plug for evolution at the end however...
Anyhow, Ben and I had a good afternoon.

And you thought lederhosen was bad!!!

SERIOUSLY.
Check out what I have to come up with NOW. Um, any big ideas (so to speak) would be helpful! I already thought of ordering an inflatable sumo suit. I tried to find one right after Halloween, but no luck...But what to put on top of that??
Should I also order a "bald-head" wig? I think that might be cool...
PLEASE...any suggestions here are welcome!!

I'm proud
...of my kids!!!
I literally quarantined them for over a week. There was something bothering me about the swine flu, and I made the decision to pretty much keep them indoors until we got shots, and then just after.
They weren't too excited to miss school, and neither was I...but they did great.
They didn't argue, fight, whine, complain, or anything. In fact, after a few days...they got out puzzles...I mean BIG puzzles with many pieces...and got to work! They played monopoly...Wii...watched movies...read...
Ayden even learned how to make moose-poops (chocolate cookies).
I was very impressed with how they (and I) handled being house-bound for so long.
I think things are slowly getting back to normal now...
Them...almost 5 years ago...entertaining themselves...
sigh...time flies.
