next time i check in on my blog, there will be zillions of disneyworld etc. pictures!!!  so viewer- beware!
here are the plans for this week...
monday- finish up packing (blah)
tuesday- after school drive to calgary and ATTEMPT sleep
wed- wake up around 3:45am and get read to head to airport (blah) then fly out at 6:30 am.  arrive in Houston, layover, fly to Orlando.  hotel-groceries-eat-explore downtown disney.
thurs- epcot!
friday- disneyworld!
saturday- space centre!
sunday- surprise!
monday- universal and blue man group!
tuesday- hollywood studios!
wednesday- other universal park (harry potter land!)
thursday- animal kingdom!  then shop some outlets
friday- can go back to 2 of the above parks- or something else.
whew, i am exhausted just thinking about it.
everyone is getting excited, so we should have the time of our lives!!!

wow.  getting home from church at 11:30 is too early.  4 episodes of doctor who, some reading, a movie or two...

i have been trying pretty hard to build up some stamina for walking all over Florida.  this evening we went to the gym and i walked for one hour 35 minutes.  i am extremely proud of myself!  it was NOT easy.  i was walking at a pretty good speed, and went 5.3 miles in that time.  that is the farthest i have walked for literally years, and for SURE since my SI sprain.  i pushed myself, but it had to be done.  crazy!  i really thought walking was a thing of the past!!!  i kept turning people down for walks, and now nobody will even ask me.  but it's okay...my family takes turns going with me...
anyhow, i am proud of myself.    maybe there is a glimmer of light at the end of a long long tunnel.

november 11

Remembrance Day.  it is sad that we are running out of vets!  soon it will be much harder to remember what it was all about.  we had a one hour meeting today, which was very good.  also, Ayden gave his first talk!  (thanks to Ben volunteering)  he was nervous, but he did a great job!

 we got a whole bunch of snow this week.  the kids didn't have school thursday or friday, so they were at home just enjoying it.  and staying warm!

my only complaint?  i was using Ayden's iPod, and his wide variety of 15 songs left me going gangum style at least 4 times...titanium, invincible.  sigh...gotta get him some new music.
my back wasn't sore after 7 times, but the rest of me was!  sheesh...

awesome updates (uh-huh)

i apologize if the readers, or reader- as the case may be- of this here blog find my posts incredibly boring.  i do it so that i can print it up at the end of the year, and have a family journal of sorts.  soooo---not really meant for entertainment, unless of course i am attempting to entertain myself.  i also don't capitalize much as you can see.  i actually DO know how- but it takes so much effort whilst typing!!

well, we survived halloween and ate lots of candy this week.  ayden had an appointment with the ear/throat doc in Leth.  it was utterly useless to go, as i figured it would be.  but oh well- we went.  we had a good day, but the roads were sheer ICE in Leth.  like a skating rink!  so glad i didn't bite it.  i also had to visit a new dentist.  it was strange...but he was friendly and explained things nicely.

i discovered i do not like it when things follow me.  even stupid things like stupid cats.  everyone who knows me knows i HATE CATS.  but i hated one the other night as i was trying to walk and it followed us the whole time!  i kept thinking i would step on it (and therefore it would die) because it kept walking around by our feet.  not cool!!!!

on friday Tessa and i went to Leth for some girl shopping.  we had a good night!  on the way home we hit some of that crazy fog we've been having so much of lately- so that wasn't overly thrilling.  in fact- i detest fog!!!!!

i learned this week (again) that other people don't do things the same as i do or would.  if everyone could just do things how i would- it would make life so much simpler!  (insert eye rolling)  but really.

coming up this week?  US elections!  i have to admit i probably wouldn't be so interested if Mitt Romney wasn't running.  i am SO curious to see if we will have an LDS president or not!!!  so it's been fun watching all the build up.

ayden will have to give his first talk in sacrament next week- thanks to ben volunteering his services today.  nice older brother!!!

i have a "thing" with dishcloths and towels.  it's fun to buy new ones.  it's disgusting if one has been laying in the sink- even for 30 seconds, and someone picks it up to wash a bowl.  YUCK.  that is the grossest thing to me!  i wash a LOT of these things.

i miss sewing aprons.  i can't even imagine how i had the time for that.  but it was so nice- the sense of accomplishment i had all year last year!  i want to make some more.  (shhh...don't tell pete)

someone told me it was Christmas in 6 weeks.  WHAT???!!!!  panic has set in!  i am only thinking about our trip and getting ready for that.  2 weeks after we get home Christmas will be here.  it is the freakiest thing.  not sure how it's all going to work yet....

soooo...here is my Christmas wish list for this year...a good speaker to plug my iPad into.  and scrapbooks from our trip.  that is all i can think of!  not that hinting helps.  i hinted a lot for my birthday...and....well....nothing....
