Firstly- Sheri has been my hero for years. I listen to hear, and read all her books. Over and over. She is down to earth- extremely intelligent, and excellent speaker- and tells it like it is. She is a cheerer of women in general. She is amazing. I've been looking forward to her coming for a long time now. I was really worried about sitting in the bleachers for 3 hours. I would have worried about 1 hour actually- but i prayed really hard- and it worked. It wasn't easy- but it could have been much worse actually. Anyhow, she and sister Nelson gave really fabulous talks- although hers ended up being a bit shorter than I would have liked. I feel they had too many musical numbers. Annie was in a GREAT musical number by cheryl Davidson. Really great! But I could have done without the others - The afternoon was really a spiritual feast though, and I felt like I could conquer the world after! Well, for a bit anyhow. So sad that those feelings are so fleeting.
After that- it was on to watching Ayden's soccer tourney. Pics coming up next.
