WOW...we have had so much fun watching olympics! what we will do now, I have no clue...one of my favorite things has been any kind of speed skating. love it! my favorite from yesterday was the 2 gold medal races! the 500m was exciting, and the team pursuit was too. there was another one today, that I haven't seen just yet. love their super-suits too!!!

- I saw my gma B yesterday. she is dying. we had a great chat, she was alert and chipper and we laughed. she is unresponsive today, so I'm lucky I saw her when I did.
- I attended a library conference yesterday. put a bun in my hair, stuck my glasses on, and I was ready!! it was good in the morning, and unbearable in the afternoon. whew!
- tomorow the YW are singing in sacrament...so that should be great! hehe
- i've been trying to get ready for "iron chef 3rd ward" which is coming up this tuesday. it amazes me both when people WANT to help...and when they don't. anyhow....

Canadian Gold...

Let me just say how nice it is to watch the olympics in Canada. Last olympics, we were in Whitefish...and it was "U.S. this, and U.S. that"...you didn't even know there was a single other country there!!!!
It's so fun to watch this time around...
Check out Alex after he won his gold in moguls last night...and check out the Australian. boohoo! Poor baby...he acted so sour...must be so hard to win a silver olympic medal!!! I must admit that the american did pretty well too. hehe

Thoughts...

Let's see...this week was full of haircuts, dental appointment, science fair, chiropractor, heart sugar cookies, music lessons, cubs, and Olympics! It was a fairly busy one right up until thursday...at one point taking Tessa somewhere, I couldn't remember where I was going! scary. how do I slow down...

Today is valentine's day. I got a bag of hershey's kisses. geuss what...they don't even taste like kisses!!!! They taste like cadbury's...what's with that? ah well, still chocolate...

-So...I finished 2 weeks of p90x. I was really liking it, and so excited that it wasn't too hard for me...yesterday, right at the end of my workout I felt my back tweak...and yes, now I'm back to laying down. it was quite painful last night. In fact today I sent everyone to Leth without me for a family dinner. easier to sit and feel sorry for myself alone!!! I wish I knew a masseuse in town...one who's not crazy anyway.
-funny story....I won't say who said this, but earlier this week...I had someone tell me that someone my age, with kids, and because I work at the library...I cannot pull of funky. it was in regards to hair...and I was told that I couldn't pull it off! hahaha...apparantly, she has visions of librarians with buns and glasses, I dunno. what a strange thing to hear!

I thought the opening ceremonies were GREAT!!! Wasn't crazy about KD Lang, or Bryan and Nellie.(what is with all the hip-swivelling to an olympic theme song...hahaha)..but I enjoyed the rest a lot. the fiddling was cool...the light shows were amazing, the guy and his reading or poetry or whatever about how great Canadians are...was the best. Go Canada!!!! It makes me so happy to live where I live...
