SEATTLE

Driving to Seattle was simply beautiful...the whole way! I'd do it again in a second. Washington is a beautiful state...who knew? I've never been there...amazing.
What wasn't too fun was the fire we got caught in on the way down. It came right up on both sides of the ditch...we were stopped for 45 mins. It caused a pretty horrible accident on the other side of the highway...our van still stinks from it! It was kinda scary...

Here is the view from our Hotel. We stayed at the "Inn at the Market". super nice!!!!
I loved this market. It was packed though...I was wishing for a few less people..
The piers are soooo old and smell old too! They are huge, and full of interesting things...

The ocean!!! (wow, we are looking mighty wrinkly and old) hehe
The famous gum wall...yuck!!!!!!!! Still...we had to add to it...

more of the market...
the flowers they had there were crazy...HUGE bunches of anything for 10 bucks!!! no fair!!

the pepper wreaths...
walking back to our hotel. it was only a few steps away from the market...
Friday night baseball! Safeco field..
Ichiro...
I had no clue I would like watching baseball this much!!!

got me a foam finger
Walking around pike place...you saw so many little cafes and things. I say saw, but it was a smell-fest. This was definatley the best smelling! Piroshky Piroshky. We didn't know what they were, but it had a long long line, so I told Pete they must be good, and we got in line!!
...and they were good...heavenly! Here is our rhubarb one...

Saturday afternoon we decided to walk up to the Seattle Library. and when I say walk UP...I mean it!!! UP HILL for a few blocks. So much so, that our calves were very sore for a few days after...but it was worth it! 11 stories high...it was amazing! I am so glad I went there. See? I am VERY easy to please.

...back to the seafood...
our crab pot BIBS

Yum
the "Ride the Ducks of Seattle Tour" duck. kinda cheesy maybe, but it was a good tour...and it took us out on the water too...good views!!!
Here is the "Sleepless in Seattle" house...
I just loved the trees here. Seattle is beautiful! I could live there...yup, rain and all.
Here are my Pike Place Market piggies (salt and pepper)
some flowers I brought home. I HAD TO!!!! This was a larger bunch then what it looks in the photo...they were 10 dollars. They would be 60 plus in Canada!!!
and here is Tessa's 5.00 birthday bunch...
