fantastic

this broadcast was fantastic.  Elder Bednar is an amazing speaker and i would highly suggest everyone watch this.  it deals with the last dispensation of time and the last days of that dispensation...which we now live in.  the Lord is hastening his work...and one of the huge tools, is social media and communications.  it really is very interesting...to think we are living in such a time.  it's exciting that Ben is on a mission at this time...and it's exciting that we can all be part of flooding the earth with the gospel.  watch it!

whitefish week

well, day 1 and look who i ran into at TJ Max.  suddenly there was this chick's face in front of me saying..."Cindy?"...haha...it took me a minute to realize who it was!  awesome.  love old pals!!!  sadly, i dont' love seeing half of Cardston shopping in Kalispell.  booooooo!!!!!
we were a bit more spread out this time.  2 cabins instead of 1.  yay!  but when we got there people told us they had been sick.  SOOOO  guess who got sick the day she got home?  yup.  but that is another story.
this is Tessa's "closet bed".  nice and cozy.  not!

it was a selfie-trip for me.  i am never in pictures, and no pictures are ever taken of me- so selfies it was.
 see?

 uh-huh
well, i can't help it.  THIS is what i look like.
and here is a great picture of Elder Bednar in front of a pinterest sign.  haha!  this is from his talk about social networking.  i have heard it almost twice now, and we will all watch it for FHE this week.

oh- had to throw this in.  doctor Who started this weekend.  new doctor, and we are not sure what to think yet because Matt Smith was just so good.  hmmm...we shall see.
holy meat-platter batman!  sigh...it was really very good.  but it made me miss Ben.  i know Ben would have totally loved this meat tray.  famous dave's!  we also ate at a pretty great Italian place in Whitefish with the absolute most amazing nachos you could NEVER imagine.  i am still thinking about those...will be for a long long time.
here is the stage at "Tarzan" in Bigfork.  it was good, but the singing is what was amazing.  it would have been a hard play to do on stage- apes flying around and such.  Tarzan was pretty good really, but he almost had a wardrobe malfunction a couple times in his loincloth. it was pretty funny actually.  ayden thought it was rather awkward.
there is that bbque platter again.  good grief.
 waiting for Tarzan!!
 Bigfork.
there's another one of those amazing selfies.

 oink.

and this.  well, you see that Ayden has serious talent.  look at the wrinkles he can produce at will on his forehead.  they are in the shape of wings.  they truly are amazing.  glad my children are so talented.

our yummy bbqued corn on cob.  mmmmmm...
below we have a picture of Pete's split open and glued head.  the same week he sprained his ankle...all at soccer.
 suddenly looking less- appetizing...
yep, this is the truth.  sadly.
here we have some pics of our fudge-making adventures last sunday.  we used the recipe Ben sent.  it was okay until we had to beat it.  then all heck broke loose.  OUCH, that stinkin hurt!!!  we had to keep taking turns

Ayden turning red whilst beating for about 30 seconds max.
 the pain!!!!!!!!
the finished product.  like a caramel fudge.  very lovely.  we were chuffed.

 playing outside.

 played kubb the other day.
here is the sprained ankle as it started to swell.
